A hot dog cart chef works to enrich the youth of Montgomery by providing them a spot of their own.

After surviving a difficult childhood, Charles Lee chose to dedicate his time and energy to give Montgomery youth opportunities that he never had when he was growing up. Following the success of his hot dog restaurants, Lee created That’s My Child, a youth foundation that offers regular programs and a support system for teenagers who face challenges similar to those that Lee encountered as a child. This year, TMC is making a home for itself in a new building that will provide a safe space for Montgomery’s youth, a testament to the success of Lee’s program and his drive to provide for others.
